Job summary

Roche Holding AG is seeking an experienced Ophthalmology Specialist Sales Rep to cover Central NSW, including Newcastle and Tamworth, on an 18-month max-term contract. You will promote ophthalmology treatments to healthcare professionals, build key relationships, and drive adoption while meeting territory targets.

The role requires 5+ years in pharma, deep ophthalmology knowledge, and a valid driver’s license with willingness to travel within the territory.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a specialist pharmaceutical representative or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of Ophthalmology stakeholders and market.
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field.

Responsibilities

Meet territory metrics and targets with resilience when engaging Healthcare Professionals.
Develop and execute account and territory plans to maximise opportunities.
Build long-term relationships with ophthalmologists and healthcare professionals.
Manage customer engagement through face-to-face meetings, virtual calls, and events.
Provide expert knowledge on clinical data and treatment benefits.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and customer experience.
Monitor territory performance and adjust strategies based on market trends and competition.
Gather insights from customers and communicate them to the internal team.
