Job summary

WesTrac is seeking an Operator Trainer based in regional NSW with extensive CAT equipment experience. You will deliver classroom, practical and onsite training, assess operator competency and coach customers across mining, quarrying, construction and heavy industries.

You will develop training materials, promote safe practices and travel regularly to NSW sites to maximise equipment performance and customer ROI. Relevant TAE and certs are preferred.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience operating Caterpillar and/or other heavy mobile equipment.
• Proven capability in developing and delivering training programs and learning materials.
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Willingness to travel throughout NSW and train across sites.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging operator training programs across classroom, practical and onsite environments.
• Conduct operator assessments and competency evaluations.
• Demonstrate equipment capability and best-practice operating techniques.
• Develop and continuously improve training materials and course content.
• Build relationships with customers and site stakeholders to support training outcomes.
