Job summary

WesTrac in NSW is seeking an Operator Trainer to develop customer and owner-operator skills across Caterpillar and allied equipment. You will deliver engaging training programs that cover performance, safe operating practices, machine technology and productivity improvement.

The role involves classroom, practical and onsite delivery, assessments and coaching for customers across mining, quarrying, construction and heavy industry, with regular travel throughout regional NSW.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering training programs across classroom, practical and onsite environments.
• Ability to develop and review training materials.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver operator training programs across classroom, practical and onsite environments.
• Conduct operator assessments and competency evaluations.
• Demonstrate equipment capability and best-practice operating techniques.
• Develop and review training materials and course content.
• Build relationships with customers and site stakeholders to support training outcomes.
• Promote safe work practices and maintain training records.
