Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a reliable, hands-on operator for Pink Lily and Fitzroy Sands quarries in Rockhampton. The role is full-time with overtime, based on site, and involves operating sand dredgers, front end loaders, and washing/screening plants as part of the sand production team.

The ideal candidate will hold Front End Loader and Excavator tickets, have dredge operations experience, a strong safety mindset, and be comfortable working independently or with a crew.

Qualifications

• Front End Loader ticket and Excavator ticket required.
• Dredge operations experience to monitor efficiencies.
• Experience with mobile and fixed plant pre-starts and basic maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate sand dredgers, front end loaders, washing and screening plants, excavators.
• Maintain safety and communicate hazards in site meetings.
• Support daily production targets and equipment pre-starts.
