Job summary

Neumann Steel Pty Ltd is seeking a hands-on team member for its Capalaba site in Queensland. The role focuses on loading, packing, and producing goods using our service centre machinery, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will support various production tasks, conduct pre-operational checks, and ensure accurate documentation and clean, organized workspaces to keep operations efficient and compliant.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, pack, and load sales orders in line with daily plans, prioritising safety and quality.
• Manufacture goods using our Service Centre machinery and tooling.
• Demonstrate versatility by assisting with various tasks based on business needs and your skill set.
• Unload goods and materials safely, ensuring receipt documentation is accurate.
• Operate machinery, equipment, and plant safely and in accordance with company procedures.
• Ensure produced goods meet specified standards.
• Pick and pack orders according to requirements and procedural guidelines.
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment before use.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organisation in the workspace.
• Communicate effectively with team members to promote a productive, safe, and efficient work environment.
• Load vehicles safely, adhering to Loading Guidelines and Chain of Responsibility legislation.
• Complete all relevant documentation accurately and promptly.
