Job summary

NLA Logistics is seeking an experienced Operations Team Leader to join our expanding team in Melbourne, VIC. This hands-on role coordinates daily transport needs, leads the operations and allocations team, and ensures service excellence for drivers, subcontractors and customers.

You will work closely with management, manage changing workloads, and help drive continuous improvement of processes while maintaining a positive, accountable team environment.

Full-Time | Two Shift Options Available
6:00am – 2:00pm OR 11:00am – 7:00pm

You will need to be available to take calls outside of these hours if urgent.

NLA Logistics is seeking an experienced and highly organised Operations Team Leader to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on operational role where you will be actively involved in the day-to-day running of the business while also providing guidance, direction and support to the operations team around you.

We are looking for someone who can confidently manage a fast-paced workload, keep the team focused and organised, solve problems as they arise and ensure our daily operations run smoothly.

About the Role

As Operations Team Leader, you will work closely with management and the wider operations team to coordinate daily transport requirements, respond to changing site demands and ensure drivers, subcontractors and customers receive a high level of service.

You will not simply supervise from the sidelines — you will be part of the day-to-day operations while helping lead the team around you.

Key responsibilities will include:

Shift Options

We have two full-time shift options available:

Morning Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm
Afternoon Shift: 11:00am – 7:00pm

You will need to be available to take calls outside of these hours if urgent. Weekend oncall work once per month.
