Job summary

NLA Logistics is seeking an experienced Operations Team Leader to join our expanding team in Melbourne, VIC. This hands-on role coordinates daily transport needs, leads the operations and allocations team, and ensures service excellence for drivers, subcontractors and customers.

You will work closely with management, manage changing workloads, and help drive continuous improvement of processes while maintaining a positive, accountable team environment.

• Supporting and guiding the operations and allocations team
• Managing changing workloads, priorities and last-minute requirements
• Communicating with drivers, subcontractors, customers and site personnel
• Assisting with truck allocations and scheduling
• Monitoring jobs throughout the day and responding quickly to issues
• Ensuring the team follows internal procedures and operational processes
• Escalating significant operational or customer issues when required
• Helping maintain a positive, accountable and productive team environment
• Supporting management with continuous improvement of operational processes
