Job summary

Centorrino Technologies Pty Ltd. is seeking an experienced Operations Team Lead to oversee day-to-day ICT services in a critical environment.

Based in ACT or SA, this 12-month contract role requires coordinating technical teams, monitoring service availability and driving timely resolution of outages and incidents. You will engage with executives and stakeholders, lead operational planning, and promote continuous improvement while ensuring security requirements and documentation are maintained.

Qualifications

• Experience leading ICT operations in large, complex environments.
• Strong leadership and service management experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement with executives and technical teams.

• Experience navigating complex technical environments to maintain effective solutions.
• Knowledge of ICT operations, service availability and incident management.
• Familiarity with Australian Gov information security policies (ISM) and Essential Eight would be valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operational management of critical ICT services and components.

• Coordinate remedial activities and drive timely issue resolution.
• Provide advice on service availability, planning, improvement and performance.
• Act as central coordinator between technical teams, management and senior leadership.
• Prioritise resources, activities and operational requirements across teams.
• Ensure leadership has information and resources to support ongoing operations and change.
• Lead investigations into operational and security incidents.
• Engage with stakeholders and communicate complex technical matters clearly.
• Develop and present recommendations, gaining stakeholder agreement on outcomes.
• Support maintenance of security requirements, processes and documentation.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across operational services and processes.

We are looking for an experienced Operations Team Lead to oversee day-to-day operations and service availability across a critical ICT environment. This role is based in ACT or SA and is offered as a 12-month contract, with the potential for extension. You’ll provide operational leadership, coordinate technical teams and stakeholders, and help ensure services remain secure, available and aligned with operational requirements.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the day-to-day operational management of critical ICT services and components.

• Act as a central coordination point between technical teams, management and senior leadership.

• Ensure leadership teams have the information and resources required to support ongoing operations and change.
• Lead and coordinate investigations into operational and security incidents.
• Engage with a broad range of stakeholders and communicate complex technical matters clearly.
• Develop and present recommendations, gaining stakeholder agreement on proposed outcomes.
• Support the maintenance of security requirements, operational processes and documentation.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across operational services and processes.

What You’ll Bring

• Demonstrated experience leading or managing ICT operations, network, infrastructure or secure service capabilities within a large and complex environment.
• Strong operational leadership and service management experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including experience working with senior executives and technical teams.
• Strong problem-solving and issue-resolution capabilities.
• Experience navigating complex technical and operational environments to develop and maintain effective solutions.
• Experience managing service levels, operational performance and continuous improvement activities.
• Strong understanding of ICT operations, service availability and incident management.
• Knowledge of Australian Government information security policies, the Information Security Manual (ISM) and Essential Eight would be highly regarded.
• Familiarity with technologies such as firewalls, DNS security, CASB, DLP and SIEM/SOAR would be advantageous.
• Understanding of enterprise identity and authentication concepts, including SAML, LDAP/AD and Kerberos, would be beneficial.
• Relevant industry certifications such as PCNSE, CCNP Security, Broadcom/Symantec SWG or CompTIA Security+ would be highly regarded.
