Team Global Express in Brisbane is seeking an Operations Supervisor at our Murarrie Depot to lead daily transport operations, coordinate delivery partners and ensure service outcomes. This hands-on role reports to the Operations Manager and focuses on safety, efficiency and customer satisfaction.

You will manage drivers, plan resources, monitor performance, prepare KPI reports and foster a positive safety culture across sites.

• Experience in a transport, logistics, fleet operations, or supervisory role is preferred.

About the RoleTeam Global Express is seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our team based at our Murarrie Depot. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for coordinating daily transport operations, leading delivery partners, and ensuring exceptional service outcomes for our customers.Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee fleet operations, driver performance, service delivery, customer relationships, and operational compliance. You will work closely with customers, drivers, and internal stakeholders to ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with service commitments.Key responsibilities include:Coordinating daily fleet operations and delivery activities to achieve service and performance targetsAllocating transport resources and communicating operational plans to key stakeholdersMonitoring service delivery and resolving operational issues in a timely mannerManaging driver attendance, leave, performance, and compliance requirementsBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with customers and stakeholdersDelivering toolbox talks and supporting the ongoing development of delivery partnersEnsuring compliance with company policies, customer requirements, safety standards, and Chain of Responsibility obligationsMonitoring scanning compliance, POD retrieval, and operational reporting requirementsCoordinating backup vehicles and contingency plans when requiredPreparing and reviewing daily and weekly operational and KPI reportsInvestigating service issues and implementing solutions to improve operational performanceIdentifying opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer outcomesEnsuring driver and vehicle presentation standards are maintainedSupporting a positive safety culture across both customer and Team Global Express sitesWhat You'll BringPrevious experience in a transport, logistics, fleet operations, or supervisory role (preferred but not mandatory)Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, influence, and manage teamsExperience coordinating drivers, vehicles, and daily transport operationsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsProven ability to prioritise competing demands and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to operational challengesHigh attention to detail with strong administrative and reporting capabilitiesA hands-on leadership style with a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellenceAbout Team Global ExpressTeam Global Express (TGE) is an Australian-owned transport and logistics business delivering to Australia and New Zealand.
