Job summary

Auscom Logistics is seeking a Bulk Liquid Operations Officer to join our Geelong facility. The role offers a hybrid work model (WFH/Office in Geelong) and focuses on managing ISO tank and flexitank operations while coordinating international shipments and depot activities.

You will liaise with clients, drivers and authorities to ensure smooth operations, track cargo movements, and maintain accurate records. A background in bulk liquid freight and Cargowise is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous freight forwarding or international logistics operations experience.
• Proven experience with Cargowise or similar TMS.
• Bulk Liquid Freight Forwarding experience preferred.
• Experience coordinating international export shipments.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day ISO tank and flexitank operations.
• Liaise with clients, drivers, port authorities and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operational flow.
• Track shipments and cargo movements, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Monitoring ISO tank depots and actions required.
• Maintaining ISO tank tracking and asset reports.
• Managing shipping line bookings, transport arrangements, depot movements and export documentation.
• Providing customers with proactive shipment updates and operational support.
• Ensure compliance with safety, maritime and transport regulations.
• Coordinate activities with team members and external partners to resolve issues.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

About the role

We are seeking an Bulk Liquid Operations Officer to join our team at our Geelong facility in Victoria.

This role is based on Hybrid offering - WFH /Office (Geelong)

As Operations Officer, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operational activities, coordinating logistics processes and maintaining the high standards of service that our clients expect. In addition you will be required to assist with Isotanks management, reviewing depot activities and liaising with international Isotanks suppliers.

What we're looking for

• Previous freight forwarding or international logistics operations experience
• Cargowise Experience
• Bulk Liquid Freight Forwarding experience preferred
• Experience coordinating international export shipments
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Sound knowledge of transport and logistics principles, procedures and compliance requirements
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
