UGL Transport seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead the Rail & Technology Systems (RTS) operations across Australia. You will grow core capabilities, manage a high‑performing national team and ensure safe, efficient delivery of projects in a contracting environment.
You will develop growth strategies, strengthen client relationships and oversee resource planning to maximise utilisation and recurring revenue streams across RTS.

The Operations Manager for the Rail & Technology Systems line of business will be responsible for growing and strengthening the foundation of our business and our core business capabilities across Train Control Systems, Signalling, Facilities Management, Products & Manufacturing, Operations & Maintenance, Asset Management, and Remote Rail Crossing Systems (RAXS JV). This role will be responsible for sourcing, securing and the successful delivery of identified opportunities and will drive the performance and growth of the business unit. The role will lead and develop a team of people, provide technical expertise, establish strong client relationships and recurring revenue streams that support larger strategic growth opportunities. This role will suit an experienced Operations Manager in the rail space looking to be part of a rapidly growing business unit in a diverse Engineering company across Australia and overseas.
You may also be a Senior Project Manager looking for that next step up into this highly visible position reporting directly to the GM of the business.
