Job summary

UGL Transport is seeking an Operations Manager for Rail & Technology Systems to grow and strengthen our RTS capabilities across Train Control Systems, Signalling, and related services. You will lead a national, multi-disciplinary team, build client relationships and drive recurring revenue, while ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree level or higher in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, or a Business related field.
• Demonstrated experience as Operations Manager or Senior Project Manager in contracting.
• Rail and signalling/TCS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the safe, efficient and profitable delivery of all RTS core operations.
• Ensure safe execution of works to meet project obligations.
• Develop and execute operational growth strategies expanding RTS’s footprint nationally.
• Build and manage customer and stakeholder relationships; interface with key customers.
• Oversee resource planning and workforce allocation across projects and services.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with commercial teams.
