Job description

Our client is a fast-moving property and finance business helping clients build wealth through property investment. Their work spans acquisitions, contracts, finance, and construction. As a small, high-performing team, every role has a direct impact.

The Role:

This is a key operational role responsible for overseeing the contracts function and ensuring a seamless process across contracts, finance, acquisitions, build support and accounts.

You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to keep property transactions progressing, improve processes and ensure key milestones are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the Contracts function, ensuring processes are efficient, accurate and continually improved.
• Support the post-settlement build support process, ensuring clear communication between builders, internal teams and clients.
• Act as the key point of contact for builders, developers and suppliers throughout the contract and finance process.
• Ensure contracts, finance updates, extensions and key documentation are received and actioned within required timeframes.
• Work closely with the Finance team to ensure key milestones are met and all required contract information is available.
• Collaborate with the Acquisitions team around property supply, potential new vendors and seamless handover into Contracts.
• Liaise with external solicitors and other stakeholders to ensure transactions progress smoothly.
• Support Accounts with supplier payments and key financial milestones.
• Drive communication and collaboration across departments to ensure an efficient end-to-end process.

About You

• Previous experience in Contracts Management, Contracts Administration or a similar role.
• Experience within a builder or project builder environment, ideally within BDM, contracts or operations.
• Strong understanding of finance processes, particularly investment and construction finance.
• Previous leadership or management experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• A proactive mindset with a focus on improving systems, processes and efficiencies.
