Effective Electrical p/l in Ballarat is seeking an experienced Operations/Delivery Coordinator to own the end-to-end delivery process for every job.

You will schedule crews, manage materials, and liaise with suppliers and rail/Powercor access, ensuring jobs are booked, run smoothly, and invoiced promptly. This on-site role is based in Wendouree with opportunities to lead admin support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years running operations or project coordination in electrical, solar or trade services business.
• Daily use of a job management system: AroFlo, Simpro or ServiceM8.
• Experience scheduling 8+ field staff simultaneously.
• Backbone to hold experienced tradespeople to a standard on paperwork.
• A problem solver who brings a fix, not only the problem.

Responsabilités

• Own scheduling from the day a job is booked to the day it is invoiced.
• Manage materials, suppliers and purchase orders so gear is on site before the crew.
• Create job packs and briefings for leading hands before each start.
• Coordinate Powercor connections, inspections, plant hire, traffic and rail access bookings.
• Chase WIP and job close-out until invoicing within 1 business day.
• Lead day-to-day admin support, starting with a remote admin assistant.

Electricians, apprentices, and work across rail, off-grid power, solar and commercial sites. We want one person to own delivery from the day a job is booked to the day it is invoiced.

About us

Effective Electrical is a licensed electrical contractor based in Wendouree, trading in Ballarat since 2009. We do rail electrical maintenance and lighting for various rail industry companies. We design and build off-grid power systems for homes, farms and remote sites, and sell grid-connect solar and batteries as Ballarat Solar Panels. We are a growing team.

What you own

• The weekly schedule for every crew, built in AroFlo and locked by Thursday
• Materials, suppliers and purchase orders, so gear is on site before the crew
• Job packs and briefings for leading hands before every start
• Powercor connections, inspections, plant hire, traffic and rail access bookings
• Same-day job sheets and AroFlo statuses, chased until done
• WIP and job close-out, handed to invoicing within 1 business day
• Day-to-day lead of our admin support, starting with a remote admin assistant

What success looks like

No job held up by missing gear. No finished job sitting uninvoiced past 3 days. A scheduling routine in place from your first weeks, with every crew booked a week ahead and every hour accounted for.

You have

• 3+ years running operations or project coordination in an electrical, solar or trade services business
• Daily use of a job management system: AroFlo, Simpro or ServiceM8
• Experience scheduling 8 or more field staff at once
• The backbone to hold experienced tradespeople to a standard on paperwork
• A problem solver who works issues out and brings a fix, not only the problem

Bonus: an electrical trade background, solar compliance knowledge (Powercor, STCs, Solar Victoria), rail worksite experience, or Xero.

What we offer

• $100k to $120k base + super, with a written pay ladder to $150k + KPI bonus, each step earned on results
