Ausipile Admin Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to own the day-to-day delivery of piling operations, balancing strategic planning with practical problem-solving on-site. You will oversee multiple projects, coordinate people and plant, and drive productivity while supporting site teams to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes.

Working with the MD and supported by engineering, commercial and HSEQ teams, you will develop people, improve operational performance and build systems

Formación

• White Card (Construction Industry Induction)
• Open C class Australian Driver Licence
• Experience in construction operations or project delivery
• Proven experience leading site-based construction teams
• Strong understanding of construction safety and operational risk management

Responsabilidades

• Operational leadership: take ownership of daily piling projects, ensuring safety, efficiency and on-time delivery.
• Resource planning & allocation: coordinate workforce, piling rigs and equipment across projects, maximise utilisation.
• Programming & project delivery: collaborate with Project Manager on work programs and mobilisation.
• Drive productivity: monitor performance and implement practical efficiency improvements.
• Be visible in the field: support supervisors and crews and interface with clients.
• Develop our people: coach supervisors and operators to build accountability and continuous improvement.
• Safety leadership: champion safe work practices with the HSEQ team.
• Plant & equipment management: ensure plant is available, reliable and fit for purpose.
• Operational improvement: refine systems and processes to improve planning and communication.

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day delivery of our piling operations and lead our continued pursuit of operational excellence.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining strategic planning with practical, on-the-ground problem-solving. You'll oversee multiple concurrent projects, coordinate our people and plant, drive productivity and support our site teams in delivering safe, efficient and high-quality outcomes.

Working closely with our Managing Director and supported by our experienced engineering, commercial and HSEQ teams, you'll play a key role in developing our people, improving operational performance and building the systems required to support our continued growth.

We're looking for someone who is equally comfortable planning operations from the office, solving problems on-site and having difficult conversations when standards aren't being met.

What You'll Do

Operational Leadership: Take ownership of daily operations across multiple piling projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to program.

Resource Planning & Allocation: Coordinate workforce, piling rigs, plant and equipment across projects, balancing competing priorities and maximising utilisation.

Programming & Project Delivery: Collaborate with Project Manager on work programs, anticipate constraints and ensure projects are adequately prepared for mobilisation and execution.

Drive Productivity: Monitor project performance against targets, identify opportunities for improvement and implement practical measures to increase efficiency.

Be Visible in the Field: Maintain a strong presence across our projects, supporting supervisors and crews with practical solutions to operational challenges, and interfacing with clients.

Develop Our People: Coach and mentor supervisors, leading hands and operators, building a culture of accountability, ownership and continuous improvement.

Safety Leadership: Champion safe work practices and work closely with our HSEQ team to ensure operational risks are identified, managed and communicated.

Plant & Equipment Management: Coordinate with our yard and maintenance teams to ensure plant is available, reliable and fit for purpose.

Operational Improvement: Develop and refine systems, processes and procedures to improve planning, communication, consistency and operational performance.

Business Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, commercial and management teams to resolve technical and operational challenges, manage project changes and deliver successful outcomes.
