Job summary

Adventure Park Geelong is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the Park Operations team. You will oversee rides, amenities and guest areas, balancing service standards with commercial performance and staffing decisions during peak periods.

This hands-on role requires strong safety culture, effective communication, and the ability to respond to weather and visitor demand while maintaining high guest satisfaction. A permanent role with start date negotiable.

Qualifications

• At least several years’ management experience in aquatic or leisure operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility to work seven days during the season including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to park operations teams and senior staff.
• Oversee daily park operations, rides, facilities and guest areas.
• Manage workforce planning, rostering and wage costs based on attendance and events.
• Conduct daily operational inspections and address identified issues.
• Handle guest complaints and operational incidents with escalation as needed.
• Ensure safety training and compliance with park policies and procedures.
• Coordinate emergency responses and ensure accurate reporting.
