Job summary

Brumby, a Sydney-based startup building autonomous cattle drones, seeks an operations generalist who can own how the company runs day-to-day. You will work directly with the founder and Chief of Staff across events, onboarding, internal tooling, and external partners.

Expect high autonomy, rapid iteration, and a proven ability to adapt as Brumby grows. Based in our Sydney office five days a week, you will coordinate logistics, manage internal comms and content, and help shape the employer brand

Qualifications

• Track record of ownership with end-to-end delivery.
• Comfort working without strict structure or supervision.
• Daily use of AI tools and drive to automate repetitive tasks.
• Highly organized with multiple workstreams.
• Clear, warm written communication in professional contexts.
• 1–3 years in operations, coordination or scrappy generalist roles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer events, demo days and ensure smooth logistics.
• Provide first-line customer support and create macros/docs in Intercom.
• Support People ops and onboarding design with the Chief of Staff.
• Help build employer brand through events, policies and culture initiatives.
• Maintain internal tools (Notion, Intercom, Slack) and publish internal updates.
• Oversee office operations, travel logistics and third-party relationships.
• Manage social media, asset library and coordination for external events.
