Job summary

JBS Pork Australia is seeking an experienced Operations Finance Manager to lead the Finance Business Partnering team and drive governance, controls, and working capital across NSW/VIC operations. Based in Port Melbourne or Corowa, the role partners with operations to deliver profitability and strategic insights.

You will oversee financial governance, audits, and system integrity while coordinating cross-functional finance projects and ensuring WHS compliance and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related discipline.
• CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Significant experience in operational finance, business partnering, or manufacturing finance environments.
• Strong leadership experience managing finance teams.
• Sound understanding of financial controls, governance, and SOX compliance requirements.
• Experience leading internal and external audit processes.
• Strong knowledge of inventory accounting and working capital management.
• Advanced financial analysis and reporting skills.
• Experience working with ERP systems, particularly SAP.
• Demonstrated understanding of system integrations and financial data integrity.
• Proven project management and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Finance Business Partnering team, driving a high-performance culture.
• Provide financial leadership and commercial insights to support strategic decision-making and profitability.
• Ensure strong financial controls, governance, and compliance, including SOX requirements and audit readiness.
• Drive working capital performance through cash flow management and inventory control.
• Lead finance systems, process improvement, and transformation projects.
• Manage cross-functional finance projects and promote a safe, compliant workplace.
