Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related discipline.
• CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Significant experience in operational finance, business partnering, or manufacturing finance environments.
• Strong leadership experience managing finance teams.
• Sound understanding of financial controls, governance and SOX compliance requirements.
• Experience leading internal and external audit processes.
• Strong knowledge of inventory accounting and working capital management.
• Advanced financial analysis and reporting skills.
• Experience working with ERP systems, particularly SAP.
• Demonstrated understanding of system integrations and financial data integrity.
• Proven project management and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Finance Manager to lead the Finance Business Partnering team and play a key leadership role within JBS Pork Australia. Based in either Port Melbourne (VIC) or Corowa (NSW), this position is responsible for driving financial governance, controls, compliance, working capital performance, and operational decision support across the business.

Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Lead and develop the Finance Business Partnering team, driving a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Provide financial leadership and commercial insights to support strategic decision-making, operational performance, and profitability across the business.
• Ensure strong financial controls, governance, and compliance, including SOX requirements, internal controls, and audit readiness.
• Drive working capital performance through effective cash flow management, inventory control, and process optimisation initiatives.
• Lead finance systems, process improvement, and transformation projects, ensuring integrity of financial data across SAP, CSB, and related platforms.
• Manage and support cross-functional finance projects, while promoting a safe and compliant workplace in line with WHS policies and procedures.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related discipline.
• CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
