Job summary

JBS Pork Australia, a leading integrated agri-food company, seeks an experienced Operations Finance Manager to drive financial governance and commercial insight across the business. Based in Port Melbourne (VIC) or Corowa (NSW), this role leads the Finance Business Partnering team and partners with operations to improve profitability.

You will oversee SOX compliance, control frameworks, cash flow, and working capital, while leading SAP-based finance systems and transformation projects.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related discipline.
• CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Significant experience in operational finance, business partnering, or manufacturing finance environments.
• Strong leadership experience managing finance teams.
• Experience with financial controls, governance, and SOX compliance.
• Experience leading internal and external audit processes.
• Strong knowledge of inventory accounting and working capital management.
• Advanced financial analysis and reporting skills.
• Experience working with ERP systems, particularly SAP.
• Demonstrated understanding of system integrations and financial data integrity.
• Proven project management and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Finance Business Partnering team, driving a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Provide financial leadership and commercial insights to support strategic decision-making, operational performance, and profitability across the business.
• Ensure strong financial controls, governance, and compliance, including SOX requirements, internal controls, and audit readiness.
• Drive working capital performance through cash flow management, inventory control, and process optimisation initiatives.
• Lead finance systems, process improvement, and transformation projects, ensuring integrity of financial data across SAP and related platforms.
• Manage and support cross-functional finance projects, while promoting a safe and compliant workplace in line with WHS policies and procedures.
