Mader Group is seeking an experienced Road Transport Maintenance Coordinator based in Sydney with relocation to Queensland. You will lead a team of Heavy Road Transport Mechanics across the East Coast, supported by coordinators and an administration team, in a Monday–Friday 6am–4pm Queensland-based role.

The ideal candidate has a strong road transport background, leadership experience, and a commercial mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team of road transport mechanics.
• Experience in road transport industry.
• Willingness to relocate from NSW to Queensland.
• Mechanical trade qualification is desirable.

Road Transport Maintenance Coordinator | Relocate to Sunny Queensland

We’re currently seeking an experiencedRoad Transport Maintenance Coordinatorbased inSydney with the opportunity to relocate to Queensland and join our expanding operations team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in Road Transport and leadership who is ready for a fresh challenge and a change of scenery.

You’ll take the reins of a high-performing team of Heavy Road Transport Mechanics operating across the East Coast, with the support of experienced coordinators and a skilled administration team.

Monday to Friday | 6am - 4pm | Queensland-based role

Key responsibilities include:

• Plan, coordinate and oversee a team of Road Transport Mechanics across the East Coast
• Collaborate with internal teams to align labour resources with customer requirements and breakdown support
• Lead team performance, provide motivation and recognise achievements
• Support recruitment activities, including interviewing, offer negotiation and onboarding
• Conduct regular site travel to build strong client relationships and complete team performance and safety checks
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, employees and key stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

• Mechanical Trade Qualification (desirable)
• Previous experience in a similar leadership role, or as a Workshop/Service Supervisor or Transport Allocator
• Strong experience within the Road Transport industry
• A strong commercial mindset and passion for growing a successful business
• The willingness and excitement torelocate from New South Wales to Queensland
