Job summary

Belingbak Hotels & Resorts is opening South West House in Dunsborough, WA, seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead the front-line team and set the standard for guest room presentation and back-of-house operations.

You will oversee rooms, public areas and back-of-house presentation, building robust systems from the ground up, and working closely with guest services and maintenance to ensure seamless room readiness and consistent standards from day one.

Qualifications

• Proven experience (min 3 years) leading Housekeeping within a hotel or resort environment.
• Hands-on leadership style - visible, organised and happy to get amongst it.
• Exceptional attention to detail and high standards of presentation.
• Strong knowledge of rooms operations, linen, laundry, cleaning systems and supplies.
• Confidence managing rosters, labour and departmental costs in line with occupancy.
• Positive approach to training, developing and getting the best out of a team.
• Strong communication and ability to work closely across Guest Services and Maintenance.
• Ability to embrace pace, energy and occasional ambiguity that comes with opening a new hotel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Housekeeping team and oversee guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house presentation.
• Build strong systems and standards from the ground up for opening the hotel.
• Work with hotel leadership to ensure rooms are ready and standards are consistent.
• Lead on-floor operations, manage linen and supplies, and coordinate with Guest Services and Maintenance.
• Respond quickly when something needs attention and maintain a high-priority service mindset.
