Job summary

Belingbak Hotels & Resorts is opening South West House in Dunsborough, WA, seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead the front-line team and set the standard for guest room presentation and back-of-house operations.

You will oversee rooms, public areas and back-of-house presentation, building robust systems from the ground up, and working closely with guest services and maintenance to ensure seamless room readiness and consistent standards from day one.

Qualifications

• Proven experience (min 3 years) leading Housekeeping within a hotel or resort environment.
• Hands-on leadership style - visible, organised and happy to get amongst it.
• Exceptional attention to detail and high standards of presentation.
• Strong knowledge of rooms operations, linen, laundry, cleaning systems and supplies.
• Confidence managing rosters, labour and departmental costs in line with occupancy.
• Positive approach to training, developing and getting the best out of a team.
• Strong communication and ability to work closely across Guest Services and Maintenance.
• Ability to embrace pace, energy and occasional ambiguity that comes with opening a new hotel.

Housekeeping Manager | South West House

South West House is a new 54-room hotel opening in Dunsborough, at the gateway to the Margaret River Region.

We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Housekeeping Manager to join the opening team and take ownership of the presentation and care of the hotel.

Leading the Housekeeping team, you’ll oversee guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house presentation, building strong systems and standards from the ground up. You’ll work closely with the hotel leadership team to ensure rooms are ready, standards are consistent and the property feels considered and cared for every day.

This is a role for someone who notices the details. You’ll be visible and involved in the operation - leading your team on the floor, managing linen and supplies, coordinating with Guest Services and Maintenance, and responding quickly when something needs attention.

We’re looking for someone who brings:
