Job summary

Morris Hospitality is opening a new kitchen on Chapel Street, Windsor, and is seeking passionate chefs to join the opening team. We’re hiring casual and full-time chefs to help bring an eclectic street-food inspired menu to life.

In this fast-paced kitchen you will prepare, cook and present dishes to a high standard, manage your section and collaborate with Front of House to ensure smooth service. Australian working rights are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy commercial kitchen.
• Commercial cookery qualifications or equivalent practical experience.
• Passion for cooking and high-quality ingredients.
• Excellent time management and organisation.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
• Able to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present dishes to a high standard.
• Manage your section and prep ahead of service.
• Follow recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen and FOH to keep service running smoothly.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and kitchen cleanliness.
• Support stock rotation and waste minimisation.
• Develop knowledge of menu and ingredients.
• Work across a flexible roster including evenings and weekends.
