You will oversee dewatering, geotechnical analysis, environmental considerations, and project management across the full mining cycle, with full ownership of drill and blast design and post-blast review.

The role seeks an intermediate engineer with 3+ years in Open Pit gold mining, proficient in blast design software and with strong teamwork across geology,

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in mine engineering, Open Pit focus.
• End-to-end drill and blast design and execution oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead short-term mine planning and contribute to longer-term planning.
• Develop and improve open-pit mining systems and processes.
• Own drill and blast design, including blast patterns and timing.
• Oversee blast execution and perform post-blast reconciliation.
