Job summary

BWE Drilling is seeking an experienced Supervisor – Drill & Blast to lead and supervise all drill and blast operations on mining and civil projects in Western Australia. You’ll work hands-on, guiding crews and coordinating with geology, mine planning and production teams to meet schedules and safety targets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within drill and blast.
• Current and valid driver’s licence (HR licence highly regarded).
• Dual-skilled experience as a Driller and Shotfirer is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience operating T45 and D65 drill rigs.
• Strong commitment to safety with a proactive, safety-first approach.
• Current National Police Clearance with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all drill and blast operations, ensuring activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements.
• Take a hands-on leadership approach, actively supporting and guiding personnel across all drill and blast activities.
• Monitor and maintain accurate daily operational records, reports, and compliance documentation.
• Liaise closely with geology, mine planning, and production teams to coordinate and deliver on blasting schedules.
• Collaborate with the Site Manager and client representatives to ensure project targets, timelines, and performance outcomes are consistently achieved.
