Job summary

Evolution Mining Ltd. is seeking a Mine Surveyor – Open Pit at Cowal Gold Operation. You will maintain the integrity of survey data, support planning decisions, and mentor survey technicians, while working an 8:6 residential roster on site at Cowal.

Reporting to the Senior Mining Surveyor, you will champion data quality, drive improvements in survey systems, and contribute to safe, efficient mining outcomes daily.

Qualifications

• recognised tertiary qualification in Surveying (associate degree or higher).
• Experience in mine surveying, ideally within an open pit mining environment.
• Strong capabilities in QAQC, survey data validation and data management.
• Proficiency with Deswik and modern survey technologies.
• Experience with GNSS, RPAS and photogrammetry methodologies.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across technical disciplines.
• A proactive mindset focused on safety, improvement and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide trusted technical guidance that supports operational and planning decisions.
• Mentor and develop Survey Technicians, helping build capability within the team.
