Job summary

Evolution Mining LTD. is seeking a Mine Surveyor (Underground) to support safe and efficient underground mining operations at Cowal Operations. You will develop expertise in modern survey practices, digital workflows and emerging technologies.

Working an 8:6 roster, you will collaborate with Operations and Geology to support daily production activities and longer-term mine development, gaining exposure to drones and LiDAR technologies.

Qualifications

• Recognised surveying qualification required.
• Experience in underground mining surveying preferred.
• Exposure to modern survey instrumentation and practices.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate survey data that supports underground operations.
• Influence mine development through survey set-out and project support.
• Contribute to monitoring activities including void management and ground movement surveys.
• Coordinate with Operations and Geology for short and long-term projects.
• Help shape continuous improvement in survey procedures and workflows.
• Gain exposure to drones, LiDAR, point cloud modelling and digital survey tools.
