Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking a Mine Surveyor – Open Pit at Cowal Gold Operation in NSW. You’ll maintain survey data integrity, support mine planning and continuous improvement, and mentor Survey Technicians to build capability within the team.

You’ll work with modern survey technologies, GNSS, RPAS and photogrammetry, collaborating across technical disciplines to deliver safe, efficient and reliable mining outcomes on an 8:6 roster. Experience in open pit surveying is preferred.

Qualifications

• recognised tertiary qualification in Surveying
• Experience in mine surveying, ideally within an open pit mining environment
• Strong capabilities in QAQC, survey data validation and data management
• Proficiency with Deswik and modern survey technologies
• Experience with GNSS, RPAS and photogrammetry methodologies
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across technical disciplines
• A proactive mindset focused on safety, improvement and excellence

As a Mine Surveyor – Open Pit at Cowal Gold Operation, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the integrity of survey data while helping drive continuous improvement across one of Australia’s leading gold mining operations. Working an 8:6 residential roster, you’ll combine technical expertise, modern survey technologies and strong stakeholder engagement to support safe, efficient and reliable mining outcomes every day.
