Job summary

Stanmore Resources is seeking a Production Supervisor to join the Poitrel Mine production team on a 7/7 roster. Reporting to the Mining Superintendent, you will lead a crew, manage personnel and equipment to achieve production targets, and drive continuous improvement across production activities.

The role requires open cut mining experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a hands-on approach with a focus on safety and team development.

Qualifications

• Experience in open cut mining production.
• Proven leadership capability.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead, coach and develop a high performing team.
• Good understanding of systems and processes (MineStar desirable).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise work.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew of multi-skilled Operators to safely execute the mine plan.
• Manage people and equipment to deliver production targets.
• Provide clear direction, coaching and day-to-day support to your team.
• Identify and implement improvement opportunities across production activities.
• Work closely with other departments to optimise performance and outcomes.
• Maintain a strong field presence and actively engage with your crew.
• Comply with all site standards, procedures and safety requirements.
• Contribute to a safe work environment through active participation in safety processes.
