Job summary

Coast Services Group on the Central Coast is seeking a confident OOSH Nominated Supervisor to lead our Woodport OOSH service. You’ll guide a dedicated team delivering before and after school care and vacation programs that families trust.

You’ll mentor Educators, ensure compliance with legislation and National Quality Standards, manage enrolments and rosters, and foster a safe, engaging, play-based environment. A supportive leadership team backs you for long-term success.

Qualifications

• Experience as an OOSH or childcare leader or Nominated Supervisor.
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (as recognised by ACECQA).
• Working With Children Check and CHCPRT025 training.
• Current Education & Care First Aid and CPR.
• Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check.
• MTOP, NQS knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop Educators, including performance support.
• Build a positive team culture and a play-based program.
• Keep the service compliant with legislation, policies and NQS.
• Manage enrolments, rosters, ratios, vacation care planning and attendance.

A permanent leadership role with a not-for-profit that’s growing on the Central Coast

If you’re after a career in OOSH, not just a job, this one is for you. We’re looking for a confident, community-minded Nominated Supervisor to lead our Woodport OOSH service. You’ll have an established second-in-charge beside you, and a new General Manager and management team who are investing in the people who lead our services.

Woodport is going to tender next year, and we’re reapplying. This is a permanent position, not a fixed-term contract. We’re growing across the Central Coast and we want to build a team of quality, long-term leaders. About the role

You’ll lead a dedicated team delivering Before and After School Care and vacation care that local families trust. You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading, mentoring and developing your Educators, including performance support

• Keeping the service compliant with legislation, our policies and the National Quality Standards
• Managing enrolments, rosters, ratios, vacation care planning and attendance
• Keeping children and Educators safe and well
• Building genuine relationships with children, families and the school community

About you

Requirements for the role include:

• Previous experience as an OOSH or childcare leader or Nominated Supervisor
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent recognised by ACECQA). All qualifications considered
• Working With Children Check and Child Protection Training (CHCPRT025 or equivalent)
• Current Education & Care First Aid and CPR
• Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check
• National Foundations of Child Safety Training
• Working knowledge of MTOP, the NQS and the Assessment & Rating process (desirable, not essential)
