Job summary

PCYC NSW Young OOSH is seeking a motivated individual to lead the OOSH team during parental leave coverage. This part-time role involves delivering positive, fun, and creative experiences to children from kindergarten to year 6, while coordinating activities and ensuring safety.

You will oversee a team, arrange games and activities, and handle customer service and membership tasks as needed. Join a not-for-profit charity that supports youth development across NSW.

Qualifications

• Experience in teaching or OOSH setting is desirable.
• Ability to obtain Working With Children Check and National Police Check.

Job description

About the role

In this varied and flexible role, classified as OOSH Coordinator under our Enterprise Agreement, you will be providing positive, fun and creative experiences to children from kindergarten to year 6, and:

• Organise games and activities, including physical and creative aspects
• Provide customer service and membership administration duties, as required

About You

Are you a passionate leader and have flexibility to work mornings and afternoons?As well as,

• Do you have knowledge and experience in a teaching or OOSH setting?
• Do you have the ability to obtain a compliant Working With Children Check and National Police Check?
• Do you have a degree in Primary Education, Diploma/Bachelor in Early Childhood Education, School Aged Education and Care or Educational Support?
• Do you have a Geccko National Child Safety Training completion certificate?
• Do you have a First Aid & CPR certification, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification (HLTAID012)?
• Do you have a Identify and Respond to Children and Young people at risk certification (CHCPRT001)?
• Do you have knowledge and experience with National Quality Framework?
