Job summary

PCYC NSW Tweed Heads is seeking a Casual Senior General Activities Officer to coordinate sport activities and youth programs, delivering enjoyable experiences for young people while prioritising safety.

The role offers flexible morning and afternoon shifts, casual loading, and opportunities to develop coaching and administration skills within a community charity.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating programs and coaching.

Job description

We are currently seeking enthusiastic people to join our PCYC Team. A Senior General Activities Officer has a varied and flexible role, coordinating sport activities and events at the Club. Casual position available at PCYC Tweed Heads

$40.16 per hour (inclusive of casual loading)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our Tweed Heads team to provide positive experiences to young people.In this varied and flexible role, classified as Senior General Activities Officer under our Enterprise Agreement, you will be coaching and guiding young people, and:

• Drive a team to deliver fun, interactive, engaging and safe activities and programs
• Provide customer service and administration duties

About You

• Do you have skills and experience in coordinating programs and coaching?
• Do you have a coaching accreditation or working towards attaining a coaching accreditation?
• Do you possess strong computer literacy and administration experience?
• Do you have a First Aid certification, CPR Certification and/or Cert 1 in Sports Management, Coaching or Gymnastics (desirable)?
• Are you a reliable and trustworthy person for the care of young people?
• Are you a positive role model, collaborative and team orientated?
• Do you have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills?
• Do you have experience in working with children, building relationships and customer service?
• Do you have the ability to obtain a compliant Working With Children Check and National Police Check?
