Who you Are

We are seeking an Onsite Support team member to provide 1st-line support and technical assistance, with a focus on event operations, as part of the Support Team embedded within a client's premises.

Based at our client's office in the Sydney CBD, the role's primary focus will be service delivery to Convergint’s SLA-based Audio Visual support-contract.

The Role

This position is responsible for providing on-site client support, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance within our clients office environment.

What you’ll do with "Our Training and Your Experience".

On-site client support/troubleshooting

Preparation of Preventative Maintenance Reports

On-site client training (administrator and end user)

Use solid troubleshooting skills to isolate and fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software.

Provide technical support to end users when applicable.

Keep up to date and informed on all company products, services and policies.

Present a professional image of Convergint at all times in appearance and behaviour and seeks opportunities to promote the services offered by the company.

Communicate with and work with the other team members consistently to improve overall operations of the Convergint Technology Centre and company.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

To be successful in the role you will need to have:

A very keen interest in workplace collaboration technology

Superior customer service skills to work efficiently and effectively with both internal and external customers

Experience with Microsoft Teams and Zoom

Crestron and AMX experience

IT and Networking would be preferential but not necessary.

Ability to adapt to varying situations and remain focused, friendly and calm when dealing with customers

Ability to work as a team with a positive attitude and professional customer service skills

Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multitask

Effective communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
