Job summary

Sandvik is seeking a Product Specialist to be based in Mackay, QLD, with frequent travel to customer sites in Queensland. You will diagnose, resolve complex equipment issues, and coach customers and Sandvik technicians in best practices for maintenance and operation.

With seven years in underground mining and a Mechanical Trade Certificate, you will drive uptime and performance while upholding Sandvik’s safety standards.

Qualifications

• Seven years’ post‑trade experience in Underground Mining.
• Mechanical Trade Certificate (or equivalent) required.
• Experience delivering technical training to maintenance personnel and operators.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
• Coach maintenance personnel and operators on operation, maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.
• Lead root cause analyses for component failures.
• Support warranty claim data collection and machine improvements.
