Sandvik is seeking a Product Specialist for Mechanical Cutting in Mackay, QLD. You will embed with customer operations to maximize equipment performance, safety and uptime, serving as the primary on-site technical interface and coaching both customer and Sandvik technicians.

You will diagnose complex issues, lead training, collect feedback, and drive continuous improvement across Engineering, Aftermarket and Support teams, while upholding Sandvik's safety and quality standards.

Formación

• Mechanical Trade Certificate (or equivalent) and seven years' post-trade experience in underground mining.
• Experience delivering technical training to maintenance personnel and operators.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal capability, especially in customer-facing situations.
• Driver's Licence and ability to meet site requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high-quality on-site technical support to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
• Build strong, positive relationships with customers to enhance their experience and promote ongoing loyalty to the Sandvik brand.
• Provide technical coaching and guidance to the service network on operation, maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.
• Offer expert-level technical support to end users, operators and service personnel for complex issues.
• Lead root cause analysis investigations when component failures occur.
• Utilise machine telemetry data to help customers optimise the performance of their Bolter Miner fleet.
