Job summary

FIRST is seeking an Event Service Specialist in Sydney to act as the primary on-site contact for event hosts and service partners. You will coordinate logistics across multiple spaces, manage guest check-ins, and ensure flawless execution of every detail from catering to AV and room setup.

You will work with FIRST's team and internal service providers, handling multiple events daily, resolving issues quickly, and adapting to changing schedules while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary on-site point of contact for event hosts and service partners.
• Coordinate and execute event logistics across spaces and buildings.
• Review event needs and confirm any concerns prior to events.
• Support multiple events per day and troubleshoot on-site issues.
• Communicate changes to event team and service lines as needed.
• Assist managers in planning large-scale events and end-to-end planning for smaller events.
