Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking a Network Infrastructure Engineer for a 100% onsite role in Melbourne or Canberra. You will design, implement and sustain enterprise virtualization and infrastructure platforms, including VMware vCenter Server, ESXi clusters, and HPE compute/storage, with a focus on security, resilience and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience designing, implementing and supporting enterprise infrastructure and virtualization environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with VMware vCenter Server and ESXi, including highly available clusters, hosts, VMs, resource allocation and lifecycle activities.
• Experience implementing or supporting enterprise backup and recovery solutions, preferably Commvault.
• Experience with HPE server, compute or storage technologies.
• Experience using VMware Aria and/or vRealize products for monitoring, operations, automation or orchestration.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and root-cause analysis skills across integrated infrastructure environments.
• Understanding of infrastructure security, hardening, patching, backup, recovery, monitoring and configuration management principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, configure, integrate and maintain enterprise virtualization and infrastructure platforms, including VMware vCenter, ESXi clusters and HPE components.
• Implement and support Commvault backup, recovery, retention and data protection services; use VMware Aria/vRealize for automation and monitoring.
• Monitor platform health, capacity, performance and availability; investigate incidents; perform patches, upgrades and migrations.
