Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking a Virtual Data Centre Systems Administrator to join our Canberra team. You will manage Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server environments, ensure high availability of critical systems, and support mission-critical applications in secure environments.

You will provide Level 2/3 technical support, diagnose complex issues across virtualised infrastructure, and collaborate with customers, network engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable services and drive

Qualifications

Experience administering Linux (RHEL) and Windows in enterprise or secure settings.
Proficient in virtual server administration and related tech like VMware vSphere and App-V.
Scripting/automation with PowerShell and Python.
Experience creating advertisements, collections and packages within MECM (ConfigMgr).
Strong troubleshooting and issue resolution in complex environments.
Effective communication and stakeholder collaboration across technical teams.

Responsibilities

Administer and maintain Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server environments to ensure availability of critical systems.
Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for infrastructure issues across virtualised environments.
Monitor, diagnose and remediate system incidents to prevent operational impact.
Collaborate with customers, network admins and technical teams to deliver reliable services for mission success.
