The BUSY School is seeking a dedicated Student Support Officer to help students thrive in an online learning environment. You will build trusted relationships, support wellbeing and engagement, and assist students in overcoming barriers to education.

Based in The BUSY School Online team, this full-time permanent role focuses on attendance, participation and ensuring students feel connected and supported to achieve their goals. Term 1 2027 start and 52 weeks per year.

Competenze

• Experience in youth support or education services.
• Ability to support wellbeing and attendance.
• Strong relationships with students, families and staff.
• Current Blue Card or ability to obtain.

Mansioni

• Support student attendance, engagement and participation during online lessons.
• Onboard students and support participation in online learning.
• Build positive relationships with students, families and caregivers.
• Collaborate with teachers and wellbeing staff to remove barriers to learning and engagement.
• Maintain accurate student records and engagement data.
• Participate in case management and intervention planning activities.
