Job summary

The BUSY School aims to support students online by promoting wellbeing, engagement and successful educational outcomes. You will work with students and school staff to identify barriers and implement strategies to keep learners connected to their studies and future pathways.

You will join a dedicated team dedicated to creating a positive, inclusive learning environment with strong collaboration across teachers, learning support and care staff. This role is full‑time and commencing Term 1 in 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience working in youth support, education, community services, wellbeing or counselling.
• Genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong computer, administrative and data management skills.
• Experience supporting young people facing barriers is highly regarded.
• Current Working with Children Card or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Support engagement, attendance, wellbeing and participation in learning for online students.
• Identify barriers to education and implement strategies to keep students connected to studies and future pathways.
• Build positive relationships with students, families and caregivers.
• Collaborate with teachers, learning support and wellbeing teams to remove barriers to learning.
• Maintain accurate student records, case notes and engagement data.
• Participate in case management and intervention planning activities.
