Job summary

Belk, Inc. is seeking an Omni/Ops Team Lead in Melbourne to drive sales and deliver an exceptional customer experience. The role oversees inbound deliveries, outbound shipments, replenishment, and store facilities, collaborating with merchandising and selling teams for omni-channel excellence.

The hourly position includes monthly bonus eligibility and requires hands-on leadership, data-driven decisions, and a focus on accuracy, speed, and safety in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience and dedication to customer service.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to lift up to 50 lbs and move items.
• Experience leading a team in an omni-channel environment.
• Proficient with Windows-based devices and basic tech.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and initiative to achieve store objectives and key metrics.
• Execute store shipment deliveries and fulfill orders with accuracy and speed.
• Lead inventory accuracy, acknowledge manifests, tag sensors, and process damaged items timely.
• Communicate daily goals and tasks; maintain back-of-house and pickup areas for efficiency.
• Plan forecasted units, inbound/outbound shipments, and required labor hours.
• Track store supply usage and place replenishment orders to maintain stock levels.
• Support facilities processes including lighting, maintenance, and housekeeping.
• Onboard and coach associates to boost omni and operating results.
• Foster team engagement and celebrate achievements to build a positive store culture.
