Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking Vessel Lead / Company Site Representative for an offshore decommissioning campaign in the Gippsland Basin, VIC. You will provide offshore leadership and company representation across platform removal, transport and load-in activities, working closely with contractor vessel management, offshore teams, project personnel and HSE/quality functions.

The role requires 10–15+ years offshore experience and 5+ years vessel supervision, with a strong HSE and operational assurance

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years offshore construction, installation, or decommissioning experience.
• 5+ years offshore vessel supervision experience.
• Strong HSE and risk management background.
• Heavy lift/decommissioning experience desirable.
• Demonstrated leadership and contractor management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee offshore decommissioning and removal activities.
• Manage contractor interfaces and monitor performance.
• Provide safety leadership, operational assurance and field verification.
• Participate in risk assessments, JSAs, MOCs and incident investigations.
• Monitor vessel readiness, quality, compliance and progress.
