Airswift is recruiting for a senior electrical reliability engineer to lead troubleshooting and root cause investigations on offshore electrical systems in the Perth area. You will review alarms, event data, and maintenance records to drive corrective actions and preventative maintenance strategies.

Qualifications
- Extensive experience with three-phase UPS systems and STS systems.
- Proven troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities.
- Experience investigating and resolving dry-type transformer failures (burnout/overheating).
- Experience identifying recurring equipment faults across electrical systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical equipment internals and fault-finding beyond drawings.
- Familiarity with IT and TN-S earthing and protective schemes.
- Knowledge of Gas Turbine Generators (GTGs) and synchronization.
- Experience with HV Partial Discharge monitoring and data interpretation.
- Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, and protection diagrams.
- Strong stakeholder management for operations, maintenance, and contractors.
Responsabilités
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause investigations for electrical failures and reliability issues.
- Review event reports, alarms, and maintenance data to identify failure mechanisms and corrective actions.
- Support daily operations by engaging with operations, maintenance, vendors and stakeholders.
- Develop and improve preventative maintenance strategies and technical documentation.
- Manage punch-list items and ensure timely investigations and closures.
- Provide technical leadership during outages, commissioning, and fault investigations.
- Assist in scoping work for third-party contractors for engineering and design services.
