Job summary

Engineering Networks in Sydney is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to ensure reliability and performance of LV electrical infrastructure across a large-scale network. You will design, commission, and provide operational support in live environments.

You will lead fault investigations, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate with contractors while supporting outages. A degree in Electrical Engineering and experience with UPS, generators, ATS, and switchboards are required, with RPEQ/Chartered

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with LV systems knowledge.
• Experience with critical power infrastructure (UPS, generators, ATS, switchboards, controls).
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding across the full project lifecycle.
• Experience in utilities, telecoms, industrial, or data centre environments.
• RPEQ/Chartered status (or working towards) is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Act as the key technical escalation point for complex faults and system issues.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause investigations across critical power infrastructure.
• Support commissioning activities, outages, and field operations teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with contractors.
