Job summary

Estia Health is seeking a capable administrator to support the smooth operation of our aged care homes. You will work closely with the Residential Aged Care Manager and staff to keep rosters accurate, assist with recruitment and onboarding, and provide excellent service to residents, families and staff.

You will also help manage enquiries, assist with billing, payroll and stocktakes, and maintain comprehensive record systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in administrative support within aged care is preferred.
• Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer and data management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate rosters in coordination with the Residential Aged Care Manager and home staff.
• Assist with staff recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Provide prompt and friendly customer service to internal and external customers.
• Manage enquiries pipeline and convert inquiries to sales.
• Support billing, payroll and stocktake activities.
• Maintain all record management systems.
• Support the residential aged care manager in daily tasks.

About the Role

You’ll be hugely important in making sure our home runs smoothly – an indispensable helper to our residential aged care manager.

• Working closely with the Residential Aged Care Manager and home staff to maintain accurate rosters
• Assisting with staff recruitment and onboarding
• Providing prompt and friendly customer service to both internal and external customers
• Proactively managing the enquiries pipeline to successfully convert enquiries to sales
• Lending a hand with billing, payroll and stocktake
• Maintaining all record management systems
• Supporting our residential aged care manager in their daily tasks

You’ll be a people person and problem-solver, with high attention to detail.

You’ll also have:

• A real desire to make a difference in people’s lives
• A qualification in Business Administration or similar (ideally)
• A proven ability to work to deadlines and work in fast-paced environment
• Solid computer and data skills
• Previous experience in Aged Care (ideally)
• Previous experience in rostering (ideally)
