AMS Doors, Timber & Hardware is seeking a highly organised Office Manager to join our growing team on a full-time basis. This is a key role within our business, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administration of the office, coordinating staff and internal processes, and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our administrative functions.
Key responsibilities
Manage and oversee daily office operations and administrative procedures
Coordinate administrative staff and allocate duties and responsibilities
Develop, implement and maintain office systems, procedures and policies
Manage correspondence, documentation, filing and business records
Coordinate meetings, appointments and internal communications
Liaise with management, employees, customers and external suppliers
Monitor office supplies, equipment and administrative resources
Assist with invoicing, accounts administration and general financial documentation
Maintain employee and business records
Assist management with recruitment, onboarding and staff administration
About you
At least one year of relevant experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative or management role
At least a Diploma or higher qualification in Business, Management, Administration or a related field
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to supervise and coordinate administrative functions
Confidence dealing with customers, suppliers and employees
Good computer skills and experience with common office and business software
Ability to prioritise workloads and work independently
A professional and proactive approach to problem-solving
