Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an office management or senior administration role in a similar industry/environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

  • High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and business systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily administrative functions of the branch.
  • Maintain accurate records, filing systems and documentation.
  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and other administrative transactions.
  • Coordinate office supplies, equipment and facility requirements.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence and branch documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide professional and responsive service to customers.
  • Manage customer enquiries, orders and follow‑up communications.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly or elevate where appropriate.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Support scheduling and coordination of branch activities.
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new employees.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative and customer‑focused workplace culture.
  • Communicate effectively across office, warehouse and yard teams.
  • Act as the Branch Manager during periods of leave or absence.
  • Oversee daily branch operations and ensure business continuity.
  • Support achievement of branch performance targets.
  • Assist with staff supervision, workflow management and operational decision‑making.
  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Provide hands‑on assistance in the warehouse and yard when required.
  • Assist with receiving, dispatching and stock handling activities.
  • Help maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse and yard.
  • Support inventory control and stocktakes.

About You :

  • Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration (desirable).
  • Current driver's licence.
  • Forklift licence (desirable or willingness to obtain).

Position Summary :

The Office Manager is responsible for the efficient day-to-day administration and coordination of the branch, ensuring high standards of customer service, operational efficiency, and team support. This role is integral to the success of the branch and requires a proactive, adaptable individual who is willing to step into operational roles as needed.

The Office Manager will provide leadership support to the Branch Manager and is expected to confidently assume responsibility for branch operations during periods of leave or absence. The role also requires flexibility to support warehouse and yard operations during busy periods or when operational demands require.
