Job summary

Estia Health is seeking an Administration Officer to support the residential aged care manager and ensure smooth day-to-day operations across our Gosford site. You’ll help with rostering, onboarding, and handling enquiries with accuracy and care.

The role requires solid computer skills, a business administration qualification (ideally), and the ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience in aged care and rostering is preferred, and you’ll join a supportive team.

Qualifications

• A qualification in Business Administration or similar (ideally).
• Proven ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid computer and data skills.
• Previous experience in aged care (ideally).
• Previous experience in rostering (ideally).

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate rosters in collaboration with the Residential Aged Care Manager and home staff.
• Assist with staff recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Provide prompt and friendly customer service to internal and external customers.
• Proactively manage the enquiries pipeline and convert enquiries to sales.
• Support billing, payroll and stocktake activities.
• Mentor and guide the Administration Officer.
• Maintain all record management systems.
• Support the residential aged care manager in daily tasks.

About the Role

You’ll be hugely important in making sure our home runs smoothly – an indispensable helper to our residential aged care manager. Usually, your day will involve:

• Working closely with the Residential Aged Care Manager and home staff to maintain accurate rosters


• Assisting with staff recruitment and onboarding


• Providing prompt and friendly customer service to both internal and external customers


• Proactively managing the enquiries pipeline to successfully convert enquiries to sales


• Lending a hand with billing, payroll and stocktake


• Providing guidance and mentoring to Administration Officer


• Maintaining all record management systems


• Supporting our residential aged care manager in their daily tasks

You’ll also have:

• A real desire to make a difference in people’s lives


• A qualification in Business Administration or similar (ideally)


• A proven ability to work to deadlines and work in fast-paced environment


• Solid computer and data skills


• Previous experience in Aged Care (ideally)


• Previous experience in rostering (ideally)
