Illawarra Strata Management – Wollongong
Full-time | In-office | 37.5 hours Monday–Friday
Whether you're looking for your first career opportunity or already have some administration, customer service or property experience, we'd love to hear from you.
We're looking for a bright, organized and motivated person to join our Wollongong team and learn the strata industry from the ground up.
No strata experience is required.
What matters most to us is that you're switched on, communicate well, enjoy working with people and genuinely want to learn. And if your goal is to become a Strata Manager, even better.
Illawarra Strata Management is a locally owned strata management company that has been looking after properties throughout the Illawarra for more than 20 years.
We're a busy, experienced and supportive team of Strata Managers, Strata Assistants and administration staff, and we're big believers in developing people from within.
Strata is an industry many people discover almost by accident — but it offers enormous variety, professional development and genuine long-term career opportunities.
This isn't a role where you'll spend your days just answering phones and filing. You'll start by learning how a strata management business operates, and as your knowledge and confidence grow, so will your responsibilities.
Working alongside our Strata Managers and experienced team, you'll be involved in:
You’ll learn the administrative fundamentals too — they’re an important part of understanding the industry — but we don't expect you to stay at that level.
Someone who:
Previous experience in administration, customer service, real estate, property, legal or another professional office environment would be an advantage — but it isn't essential.
If this is your first office role and you've got the right attitude and aptitude, we still want to hear from you.
If your goal is to become a Strata Manager, we'd like to help you get there.
You’ll receive structured on-the-job training and work alongside people with years of strata experience.
As you develop, we’ll progressively expose you to more aspects of strata management and support you in developing the knowledge, skills and relevant qualifications needed to progress.
For someone with the right aptitude, performance and drive, we’d love to see you progress from this role into strata support and towards becoming a Strata Manager within approximately two years.
How quickly you progress will ultimately depend on you and your readiness to take on greater responsibility.
If you’re switched on, enjoy working with people and want an opportunity to build a genuine career rather than simply find your next job, we’d like to meet you.
We’re looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
